Samsung may face HTC-like block by Apple next

This week we’re seeing one gigantic slip in stock prices for HTC as Apple’s complaint to the ITC has two of their next hero phones blocked from being shipped to the USA – now we must ask if Samsung’s Galaxy S III will be next. What we’re seeing here is the HTC One X as well as the HTC EVO 4G LTE being blocked by “a standard U.S. Customs review of shipments that is required after an ITC exclusion order.” This information comes straight from HTC who note that the proposed infringement comes from a dialer app that comes pre-installed on HTC mobile phones. This order dates back to December of 2011 between HTC and Apple when the order was sent down that the order on the case would be delivered no later than April 19th, 2012: this affecting at

Inside you’ll be able to unlock the mysteries of the phone, discover its untold secrets, and master its functions.

Or maybe not, but it does give you heads up for some functions and operations ahead of the phone’s official launch. Here are a couple of things we’ve managed to take away from the device:

Google Doodle celebrates Mother’s Day 2012

Googlers love their mothers, and so the search engine couldn’t let Mother’s Day go past without celebrating it in the search giant’s traditional doodle way. Up on the homepage today is a cute animation showing a pair of young “o’s” rushing to give momma “g” a flower; Google has even managed to avoid throwing in some AdWords links to florists or Jimmy Choo.

Not everyone gets the doodle, however. Mother’s Day – also known as Mothering Sunday – differs in its place on the calendar depending on which country you’re in. In the US, and in other locations, it’s the second Sunday of May, while in the UK and in other locations, it’s the fourth Sunday in Lent.

Google celebrated the earlier Mother’s Day with a different doodle, a hand-drawn style crayon image rather than this animation. The company is yet to

Sony PlayStation Vita sales hit 1.8 million

Although the sales of Sony’s new gaming handheld had an inexplicably slow start, the company says that it had reached a more admirable 1.8 million unit sales by the end of its fiscal year, which ended in March. In February, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Kirai sais that slaes were at 1.2 million units. That means in March alone, the number of Vitas that have been sold grew by 50%.

Of course, that’s also because it was actually on US store shelves as well as other regions. In its first couple months on the market, the Vita was only available in the very limited region of Japan. In March, Sony said, only 52,492 Vita units were purchased in Japan. That represents less than 10% of the 600,000 or so units that were sold on a global scale. So bringing it to the larger
